Large, colored masses of glass are rolled to a cylinder and pulled around 20-30 feet, sometimes using a drill to aggressively spin the glass, forming a variety of patterns. Other large colored masses are squared using a metal table and pulled, then later cut into small squares. Each component are melted to a singular sheet of glass, rolled up onto a metal pipe, then blown into a bowl.
